Zozobra Charm in Sterling Silver

-Zozobra or “Old Man Gloom” is the largest marionette in the world. Zozo was created by artist Will Shuster in 1924 and has become a huge event ever since. He is built and burned each year in Santa Fe, New Mexico as part of traditional celebrations during what is known as “Las Fiestas de Santa Fe”. Burning Zozobra is a way to remove negative energy & aspects of the past year and to be free of the gloom he carries. Zozobra is unique to New Mexico and a highly popular symbol of local arts and culture.
